Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

Does anyone know what the benefits are like compared to BCG? Same health insurance plan? Same bonus structure?
Don’t know comp, but the operating model is to work out of DV office, so minimal travel
Have a friend there, can’t speak on the comp but he travels about 100% of the time and it looks/sounds like an awesome gig
EM1 us vs them is a little extreme. We go to market together. Impressions from your several hour interview experience is great and all but don't jump to conclusions like you know the culture. We embed on their teams. The only us vs them that exists is because they are run as their own business within BCG, and obviously people who like that type of work don't like to think of themselves as apart of a big strategy firm. They've poached many mck partners in their massive growth so undoubtedly it will start to look more like that in the future.
Manhattan beach office is def cool. Some of the ventures launched out of it are doing really well. Def an innovative place to be

How can I get in ?
Have a friend in the Berlin office; little to no travel and generally better hours than general BCG (although there are peaks up to a presentation etc). Comp is comparable to normal BCG, as far as I know.
Did a 4 month case at DV in Manhattan beach. Travel is RARE, pay is fairly comparable to regular BCG (but i would guess a little lower), they have like a few different roles: venture architect, product manager, strategic designer, etc. Venture architect is basically a former consultant.
They are growing fast. I think politics are heavy and I don't think they've had the client results yet that enables them to stand without mother BCG. It may come.
Interviewed there and felt a very ‘us and them’ culture vs the traditional consultants. They promised roughly 50-100% travel for a product person, guess other roles may be less.
Fwiw Digital McK lots of travel but more integrated and great work
Amazing place to work. I’ve worked with teams there and it is mostly cool new product creation stuff.
