Rising Star
7 total
3 Chase cards that pool:
CSR for travel/dining spend and high redemption value
Freedom for quarterly bonus spend
Freedom Unlimited for drug stores and non bonus categories
2 Amex:
Amex Gold for groceries/dining (also pools with corporate card points)
Marriott for Marriott stays (legacy SPG card that I keep for the annual free night)
Plus one Citi card that is my oldest account and another Chase card that I churned and kept open.
15, 2 store brand, 3 travel specific, use them all for different reasons. Really only use one regularly, could close all but 3. Just don’t want to loose years of credit etc.
Only two, which are travel related, reimbursed, and totally worth it if not.
CSR for food / travel and Citi DoubleCash for everything else. The perfect 2-card combo
Rising Star
OP One example is what I described above: combining the Freedom Unlimited with the CSR. 1.5% back gets a 1.5x multiplier at redemption if used towards travel (and Chase has temporarily expanded to statement credits for all spend as travel redemptions are limited at the moment)
Delta-for delta
Marriott - for Marriott
Amex Plat- groceries , gas
Apple - everything else
You also get 2x on any Apple Pay purchases with the Apple Card, and there are no foreign transaction fees (useful for international merchants that don’t take Amex).
Rising Star

Just 1: Capital One Venture lol, don’t see a need for any more as I don’t spend a ton, and one annual fee is more than enough for me!
