Began interview process for 6 month contract role. The initial hourly pay seems low. If I was applying for this role as a full time associate, I would be asking double based on the job description. Do contractors generally make less, or is it the market? Also wondering if there's room to negotiate. I wouldn't be asking for double, but maybe 25% more. Was found through an external recruiter.
