Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. Just wanted to say the brand I work for hired a 55+ yo Creative Director and I am STOKED. He is seasoned, smart, kind, and elevates voices, is just generous and classy af. This is refreshing as I’ve know one too many conceited and elbow-shoving CDs at agencies I worked at. He’s the highest ranking Creative without the inflated title too. So happy to see there’s a future for us (well at least brand side for now).

I’m sensing real Instagram burnout from friends and colleagues. Is IG a bubble that bursts? Or does the audience (user) demo just change like FB in ‘09 or so?

It is absolutely insane to me how recruiter ghosting is acceptable in the world of working professionals.

I don’t care how busy they are. They seem to respond really promptly to all of my emails, but the second I am no longer of use to them, they’re too busy to fire off a ten word email.

Sending one more email letting me know that I’m not being considered for a position does not take long.

And after I took time out of my day to interview, it is the absolute least they can do.

Clues that you didn’t get the job?

No matter how much and how hard I try organize my day, stuff just pops out of nowhere all the time and I end up stuck at my desk until midnight almost every single day.

Anyone have luck (after getting a “pass”) by going back and asking potential employers to reconsider?
