Joined Company A, 2 months ago in APM role. Now, I have got another offer from Company B for the same role.

Company A is in real estate, Company B is in healthcare.

CTC at Company A: 21 fixed + 1 retention bonus (1 year)

CTC at Company B: 22.5 fixed + 2.5 variable+ 1 joining bonus

Should I join the new company? Or ask the current one to match the offer?

P.S. both companies are Bangalore based startups though company A is bigger in terms of employees. (1500 vs 150)

Hello all. Looking for thoughts and opinions. I’ve been a sales manager with a small company (I refuse to say it is a start up anymore since they bring in several million in ARR). I’ve been with them for a year and a half. I started at 50k and now make 63k. I am a full-cycle sales manager…the company does not believe in the use of BDRs. There’s no opportunity for growth. Is my salary fair (per MA standards)? I was promised high OTE… but with no marketing team I also hardly get leads.

Mid term career direction: due to connections I know of an ID firm with an actually good reputation that is planning to open an office in my market within the next year. I’m currently doing ID and will eventually leave it. BUT if the opportunity arises to get on the ground floor and help establish a new office is it worth taking the opportunity? What are the go to resources today for buy side interview prep? I have the BIWS course which has some LBO prep but not sure if their modules are the best ones out there still.

I’m a new analyst at a PE firm, and my associate keeps blaming me for things she does wrong. Like she will tell me I made the wrong change, even though she is the one who changed it. Or in calls with other people, she won’t take responsibility for things that she told me to do that the other person calls out as wrong. How can I handle this situation without making her mad but also not letting her step all over me?
