Probably Kirkland, but buyer beware
Like small offices?

Any of the tech firms.

No they don’t.
Kirkland?
I’d say it’s all dependent on deal and client size - for transactions under $150mm I don’t think it makes any sense to use K&E because it’s not worth their rates and you don’t need their deep bench to staff up for an M&A transaction. Any Top 20-80 firm would have a bench that could do this transaction at market terms or better and at a cheaper cost. There are plenty of exceptions but I’d say this is for the most part true
Kind of off topic, but I wish other firms somehow offered a secondment at kirkland so you could go there, work on a few big deals for maybe 3-6 months, and then go back to your old firm :)
@partner 1, I'm at a tech firm, so I mainly do a mix of VC and sell side m&a, but I would love to spend some short time at Kirkland to really bring up my m&a skills, but don't wanna burn any bridges at my current firm
