For me the fun comes in travel. Post-pandemic, we are now starting to ramp up as travel prerequisites are starting to ease. Being that it's a DoD position, I'd be visiting military installations as much as twice a month both CONUS and OCONUS for at least 1 week at a time. Plus, it's non-technical and and I act more as a liaison while observing and reporting while providing input on improving the process.

So ironic how this job sounds just like a position that could be for my company. 😄

I’ve always wanted to retire at NPS as a Park Ranger.

Hi! Anybody knows of federal agencies hiring that are offering fulltime telework/remote?
I currently work for an agency based in DC and my boss is forcing us to come back into the office fulltime after we’ve been remote for nearly two years. Majority of my coworkers have already left for the private sector but I’d like to remain in the public.

I currently have a Master of Arts in Public Administration and am trying to break out of the realm of government and law enforcement.. that being said, I have been pondering the idea of getting certified in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and sustainable business. Would this be worth the investment or should I leave that to people with a heavy finance background? Just want to be more marketable since my main background is in law enforcement data analysis.

If you're a government HR strategy, I/O psych, talent management, organizational design/development professional or consultant, we need you!

Have you heard of OPM's team of strategic HR consultants? Within OPM Human Resources Solutions' HR strategy, there are strategic consultants who operate on a reimbursable basis, similar to a private sector consulting agency.

We have current, developing, and future vacancies for human capital strategists and consultants at the GS-12/13/14/15 levels!

I work through a contractor, and was hired 2yrs ago to be a Systems Test Engineer II. They decided last minute to make me a Software Content Manager, but kept my title as is since it was supposed to be a 6mo rotation. I’m still an SCM, and am taking on leadership roles in the group. How do I ask for a title change and pay increase to reflect what I actually do? Do I ask my contract house, or my NASA mgmt? Should I ask to make the pay retroactive since I was hired to do one thing, but do another?
