For me the fun comes in travel. Post-pandemic, we are now starting to ramp up as travel prerequisites are starting to ease. Being that it's a DoD position, I'd be visiting military installations as much as twice a month both CONUS and OCONUS for at least 1 week at a time. Plus, it's non-technical and and I act more as a liaison while observing and reporting while providing input on improving the process.

So ironic how this job sounds just like a position that could be for my company. 😄

I’ve always wanted to retire at NPS as a Park Ranger.

YOE-7.5, level 8, CCTC-25, no switch so far. Got retained in June 22 and received 30% hike, remaining 20-25% will be paid in dec. Is this good?
Also, which is good to apply for US onsite. L1B visa (process will start in upcoming months) or H1B visa (need to wait till dec for next cycle - FY23). Leadership has asked to choose from one of this as both visa requests cannot go in parallel.
Please suggest.
