We got $50.00 applied to our customer cards. So that bonus is still going back to the company.

YOu are kidding me!!! OMG that is crazy to me. This is something my company would do. They would give us a free lunch card or something. We got a $25 Amazon gift card for staff appreciation. Didn't really make me feel all that appreciated but you know how that goes.

I haven’t gotten a staff appreciation gift

A staff appreciation gift?! How fancy 😂 We don't even get raises. I would have had a hard time keeping a straight face if I was handed an umbrella. Like....wow. Just what I've always wanted. A $3 piece of garbage that everyone definitely already owns.

You can get a free umbrella from tmobile on tmobile tuesdays! Lol. Personally after ten years of busting my hump and being certified at the highest level possible in my specialty, I got....a certificate of appreciation from the state of california! It's similar to a participation trophy...without the trophy part. I bought a gold frame and nailed it to my office door! The looks I got from pounding in those four nails was priceless!

We get the usual pizza.

I was given the option to pick a gift, I chose the umbrella and that thing was nice!! LOL I still use it 5 years later. But then again it was one of those really large golf umbrellas. I walk into my new job with an umbrella that has a huge logo of my old job :)
But honestly, it depends on budget. As a leader at my previous employer, we had thousands of dollars to blow on employees, that was a large healthcare company. This new job is local government, and we are only allotted to spend $25 per person. We tend to put it all together and throw luncheons etc because we only have 25 on the team.

I tend to spend my own money on my team, but I understand that everyone doesn't have to means to do so or they just don't think to do it either.

DO YOU JUST ASSUME THE COST OF YOUR MARKETING ACTIVITIES? I am looking to allocate their cost in the marketing budget in a way that won't rely on several layers of assumptions. How do you reliably estimate the cost of different marketing activities (email, social, web, etc) when you don't have specific people or tools allocated to each function and costs are spread across many channels? Ads seems the easiest, but even then there's time and overheads... I've been looking for a reliable model.
