Booking a trip to ATL in a few months. I have Alaska Air MVP Gold. They are phasing in their oneworld membership throughout 2021, but it’s not clear to me what benefit, if any, I’d get from booking an AA flight via AS’s website (ie “marketed as an Alaska flight, but operating as AA”). I think these would count as partner miles, not Alaska miles, even though it’s purchasedart AS. This would be my only non-Alaska flight so partner miles are less useful than Alaska miles. Am I missing something?

My American citizen 8 month old is on tourist visa in India; current stay runs out on June 7. Flying outside the country is a risk we don’t want to take w/COVID. Don’t want to overstay the visa either. So we applied online on eFRRO to convert his visa to X-1 so we can apply for his OCI. I am a UX designer and have spoken with a potential client who intially wanted to redesign the navigation and landing page of their site. They showed me analytics saying only .35% of users open the main menu (most access different pages through Google search and then leave the site) so it's not worth the time to redesign. I see a lot of growth potential here, but they don't see the value in good nav if users don't already use it. How do I show them the value of good nav? Should I just let it go?
