I don't think it's that straightforward.
Over the past decade or so we've made a very distinct shift towards providing tech solutions for clients vs the butts in seat work that used to be our calling card.
Something like ~70% of our firm is now doing tech work vs doing advisory or butts in seat work, and a very sizeable portion of that tech work is doing mission critical AI and automation work this administration is very publicly clamoring for.
While we absolutely need to diversify more out of the fed sector (and that's been a long term gripe of mine), it's much harder for even this administration to turn off solutions like flipping a switch than it is to stop advisory/staff aug work.
None of us have a crystal ball in regards to this administration, but I think we're on more solid footing than firms like GPS that are more heavily weighted to non-solution work.
another direction they can take is decrease the number of headcounts required to maintain / manage those applications and in-source some of them as FTEs... overall cheaper
They, like many are public sector focused firms - of course all their revenue is coming from that. Feel like this is such a dumb thing to post. Next are you going to say Chemonics is also screwed for being 99% at USAID. People are pretty aware
It’s like saying, we got a bully in the White House that intimidation and force he can negotiate anything including bullying Ukraine into submission. But that failed. So saying obvious things is not always a bad thing. Some people might not know where all booz work come from.
Time to buy their stock
Funny how we still have a bench and are a publicly traded company so ours should have gone first, but oh look it was yours. Atleast our leadership tries to be Nobel up until the last chance
