Rent a car and drive. Roads are great and there are not that many people around so you can drive as fast as you want

It’s expensive so be prepared for overcharged food

This may sound dumb, but are all the cars manual?

@A2 nope! You have to pay a little extra for automatic. Got a 4 wheel drive small SUV and it was great

Rejkavik is NOT close to Kevlavik airport. Be prepared to drive about 45 min to an hour. Roads are very narrow and close down completely with little to no warning, especially in winters. Northern lights require very little overcast so it all depends on your weather that weekend. Food is very very expensive as is pretty much everting. Beautiful place but just be prepared

How many firms is too many? I’ve practiced 13 years. Since I was a 1st year associate, every 3 years or so I’ve been recruited for another opportunity that is hard to pass up. I’ve been at my current firm 3 years and got the call again, again about an opportunity that is hard to pass up. I don’t like having a reputation of a flight risk, but this keeps happening. Should I decline to pursue the opportunity just so I have a longer track record at my current firm? This will be my 4th if I move.

I have a long flight coming up (with two layovers, and one of the flights is 8 hours long — red eye). My daughter is 2yo and I’m debating whether we should take the car seat with us or not. She’d be more comfortable in the plane and would be easier to “restrain” her… But the thought of carrying that huge and heavy car seat across four airports doesn’t sound very appealing. Any advise?

The only motivation to jump is the money. If i stayed at D i'd prob get promoted next year and yet it wont match the salary i'm getting offered today. The money would allow me to reach my goals a lot faster, but is right to move just for the money? I know the work at the other firm will be less interesting.
