I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

I would wait, it’ll add considerably to an exit in terms of title and pay
Too low, assuming their titles are standard. 2nd year associates all left for SM titles. I made EM and got a Director role in less than 1 year.
Shopify isn't enough of a name or likely to pop enough to take a hit on title, role, or comp, in my opinion.
Actually, kind of surprised they can make the comp work at the manager level for you. You are 3 months from another reasonably large bump, assuming BCG isn't reducing raises due to the economy.

I agree with waiting. That extra 10 months would be worth it.

The title way too low. Not sure of the Org hierarchy at Shopify, but somebody with your experience at BCG should be at least a senior manager in general and probably AD. After PL/EM an exit should be more like a Director if not even better.
Wait unless you love the role and company. No guarantee they will have a director role open in 2 years
I’m at same tenure as you. Was Manager title in industry two years before business school, you can do better!

1. Yes, aim for Director with reports

Honestly - titles vary wildly across industries. Make sure you’re comparing apples to apples here. Going from EM to a director in Industrials or CM is par for the course. But this won’t translate to tech - it’s not the same comparison.
Shopify doesn’t have a great reputation - mlm / pyramid scheme allegations. Something to consider as well.
No because shopify has pretty much created the incentive structure and marketing tools to promote that sort of behavior. Uber has the rating system to help ensure their partners have certain standards
