They can ask for a lot of things doesn't mean you have you give it to them
Just reply with the range you are looking for. Deadpan. You must decide what that is before negotiating or else you will be in a weaker position as no employer will throw out a numbet first.

If the agency you are interviewing at happens to be owned by the same holding company as your current agency, it is pretty easy for the new agency to find out what you make now.
