Hi Fishes, I have seven years of pre-sales experience in market risk analytics and investment management products. I am now looking to get into finance product management space and have an interview lined up for ESG Product Manager. Can someone please guide me on how to prepare and crack this? It's a dream come true role for me.

My manager from an old job (where I performed well, and left on great terms) agreed to be my reference. The next day, he got a link from the background check company for filling out the referral form. However, ever since then, he has completely ghosted me. All my messages are left on read. No idea what is happening and it’s been 48 hours of no response from him. No words really, just shocked that he suddenly went silent. Wondering if he harboured any ill will and will cost me this job ☹️

What’s the best font size for a resume? Is 10 too small? I’m using Times New Roman.

I keep getting rejected for lack of SaaS experience. What can I say or do to get my foot in the door? I am confident that I can crush it but not even getting past the gatekeeper at this point. It’s a blanket “ we need someone with experience” and I’m trying to not get discouraged.

I don’t know what to make of this. I’ve been out of work and interviewing for 3.5 weeks now. I feel like they go really well, then I get, we will call you and let you know we have a couple other candidates. Then poof nothing. SMH…I am very skilled and would be a great benefit for someone. I am applying at Fidelity investment and the applications keep getting rejected. I have applied for at least 10 jobs that i believe are good fit but they keep getting rejected. Is that to do with ATS template resumes or something else? Did anybody else experience this before? How did you mitigate this issue?

How do tech companies view a 1 to 2 yr gap in your resume after consulting? I want to take a year off to pursue hobbies and need a break after consulting and before the next job. But I fear that the1-2 yr gap on resume might be seen in a negative light ( that I was kicked out and couldn’t find a job etc.)
