Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

But a word of caution. Some people do not get the lower back support
The Herman Miller doesn’t work without the lower back support. DO NOT get one if you can’t afford the lower back support.
You NEED the PostureFit SL it supports not only the lumbar but ALSO the sacrum!! Ergo “SL” Sacrum and Lumbar support
Also make sure you get the RIGHT SIZE!! There’s A, B and C!! Base this on ur height!!
So if ur average height I’d recommend

Herman Miller Aeron chair. Not cheap, but has to be one of the best chairs ever. And if you don't want to buy one new you should be able to find some used ones on FB marketplace or wherever. They last for a long time. And you can find replacement parts for stuff like armchair pads pretty easily.

Herman miller embody >>>>>>> Aeron. But it is not cheap
Steelcase Leap or Gesture are also great. Highly recommend looking at refurbished models (goes for HM Aeron as well) because a lot of times you can get a close to brand new chair for half the price or less
Secret lab is good
I really hadn’t thought about this, though I’m on calls for at least 5 hours a day and I spend most of those walking up and down my hallway. This opened my eyes. Thanks!

How is it compared to those Amazon similar designed chair?
Do not sit 10 hours a day. Get up EVERY hour. Stretch, walk around even if it’s for a few minutes. Also, an exercise ball at the correct size is a great tool for taking pressure off of your spine and it helps with back and core strength.
Standing desk with a decent chair. Stand more then sent and you will feel much better end of day. That’s what I’ve done and it works 🤷🏼♀️
