You should definitely use your own resume and not someone else’s

I wouldn’t limit yourself to the CPG brands - you’ll be competing against those who have gone through their development programs with deeper in house skills. Look at adjacent industries with heavy B2B2C elements - dental, dermatology, optometry. Some of those tend to have major gaps in their marketing capacities as a whole and benefit from CPG talent.
This would be so helpful or even just a chat on how to frame transferable skills. I'm looking to make a similar move too
You can probably find some good examples on LinkedIn but this title is a bit vague. What part of the brand do you want to manage? Marketing? Partnerships? Or just overall management? I’m on brand side for a large company so we do look for these details 👀 there are also great posts about the transition from agency to brand side. Here is one from an old colleague of mine posted for reference: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/feliciazhang_for-all-the-ex-agency-folks-out-there-one-activity-7288247198524272643-TZBm?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios&rcm=ACoAAAGIMOIBo__ibXKGYNcDCnWM0ePKHXTK8I4
Thanks, this is good context. I prefer the marketing side of things since I’m coming from a creative agency. I will scour LinkedIn for some examples. I feel like a creep clicking through peoples page’s but I guess it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.
I used to be a sr brand manager at P&G, happy to take a look at your resume or give you tips if you’re interested at P&G.
