Does where you get your masters degree matter? I’m in an online environmental science masters program at an expensive “name-brand” school, but have colleagues telling me I should transfer to a less expensive program to save $ because no one cares about where your degree is from. Aside from the cost of it, I like my program, and the fact that I’m now connected to an incredible alumni network. And not gonna lie, I like the clout. Thoughts?

Hey, so I was offered a CDP position as an analyst in Accenture starting this fall, but today I just found out I got the Fulbright scholarship to be an ETA in Thailand for a year. I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.
