Outside the GMAT, what other things can one focus on to improve their chances at a good MBA college ? In a span of 6 months ?

Fully regret completing my MBA at a non target even tho I got into some M7s, mainly for ego reasons. Did the MBA to break into consulting, and I did but wondering if I would’ve been able to get in with MBB through traditional channels had I done M7.
