Deloitte USI is offering me 15LPA fixed and 1lack joining bonus and HCL offering me 23LPA fixed. I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. Everyone has a different perspective on this but would love to hear yours. Someone has debt ranging say 4-5% interest rates. Do you attack debt more then investing to move towards a debt free life or do you go after investments since they return historically above that then paying down closer towards retirement. I know the latter looks better on paper but what about the psychological factors of being debt free and the guaranteed return on interest savings.

Just started a new role in finance and I’m the only woman on the team. It’s been 3 weeks and the guys have been pretty unwelcoming and kind of rude. The first day everyone was welcoming but it went downhill since. One of them keeps trying to scare me that the work will get hard etc and there’s always awkward silence and sometimes unnecessary rude remarks. I just started and don’t feel right what should I do.
