Can someone ballpark what’s the split of cost cutting work vs GTM/top line growth strategy at MBB and strategy practices at big 4? Is one more highly desired?

Anyone hiring those who have been out of work for a year? I took time off to tend to personal matters, but I am now looking to get back into the workforce again. My previous experience includes time at B4 audit up to senior level and then transitioned to manager in industry. Senior/manager roles are preferred.

I don’t mind audit. However, I’d prefer it not to be at a B4, as I am looking for some semblance of a work life balance.
