Can someone explain how a MBA student, who has zero experience in working in the real world let alone consulting can start off as a “senior consultant” (L8) with a higher salary than experienced hires?

If I resign from EXL in mid of Dec 22. Will I still be getting the Annual Bonus (for 2022) which will be paid in March 23 and is some percentage of fixed CTC.
