I have been offered staff engineer role in memory team.
My years of experience is 5 years
Samsung offered me 34 as AGS and 8 lacs as joining bonus for 3 years retention period.
Is it a good offer or should I ask more? If yes then what number should I ask them ?

EY offer letter compensation structure doesn't have any mention of gratuity? But its written below that "beside this you will be eligible for gratuity". Will it be deducted from the given compensation or it will be given in addition to given compensation????

I’m applying to tax jobs in a high COL area and am currently living in a low COL area. I plan to stay in the low COL area and work remotely until offices open back up which won’t happen this year. As I’m interviewing and negotiating salary, I want to be reasonable and fair. Should I negotiate 2 salaries, a lower salary for the time I work remotely in a low COL area and then a higher salary for when I relocate to the high COL area?

Hey there looking for some grounding in what to expect with UXR base or total comp. I have 3 YoE in industry, 3yrs in academia, numerous journal article pubs (albeit in psychology), and am based in Canada. So far I've heard first hand base comps ranging from 90K to 130K for intermediate UXRs. Is this a fair assessment or are my observations incorrect to the whole spectrum? TIA

Is it a red flag as a candidate to ask if a company offers maternity leave? I was recently laid off, so I wasn't expecting to lose my job. We're planning on trying for a baby in the next year or so, so it's really important to me that my next job offers paid maternity leave.

The issue is that it's so rarely advertised on company web sites, but ultimately better maternity leave would sway my decision for a job. Is there a way to ask this tactfully? Or without raising red flags?
