LinkedIn is an absolute shithole. A couple years ago I decided I should try to become active on LinkedIn (I live in LinkedIn recruiter and that only shows me people’s experience and education, I don’t see any of their activity like posts comments or reactions)
If anything it just made me like candidates less when I see stuff like this (and LinkedIn is mostly stuff like this) so I gave up almost immediately

I think connecting with people on LinkedIn can be worthwhile but as far as activity, your average LinkedIn user doesn’t have to post.
I don’t know who tells people that not posting on LinkedIn is any sort of red flag, it’s not, for the most part recruiters aren’t looking at your activity on the feed at all
When we’re actually sourcing we use LinkedIn recruiter and the output is different from your regular LinkedIn profile. We only see the basics, your experience, education, skills and your summary but we cannot see any of your posts or likes or comments. We’d have to go out of recruiter and into regular LinkedIn to see that and I don’t know anyone that goes looking for that.
I couldn’t tell you if the last hundred people I made offers to ever even liked a post on LinkedIn. I don’t even find it useful to post a link to a job I’m working on, I get no traction so I usually don’t even bother

Not sure why plagiarism is encouraged in a professional network lol.
Because it's encouraged in social networks
Not to sound like an old cranky pants but the meme trend should be saved for IG and Facebook not LinkedIn.
WHAT DID THEY TELL HIM??? 🤣
Chief
What if it is ACTUALLY the same employee and they ALL have fielded this SAME EXACT question from him?!?
I know that guy, he's just a big job hopper. Nothing to see here in terms of these posts! It's all on the up and up!
I think LinkedIn provides canned content and people share it to their network. That’s why it all looks the same.

As far as the whole post or to verify that the 499 say the same thing?
Here's my question. LinkedIn is beyond trash right now. What's a replacement
Enthusiast
I don’t think there is a replacement (nothing I’ve found at least) but what recruiters see when we’re in LinkedIn recruiter (and that’s usually where we’re sending inmails from) is strictly your profile and nothing more (we can’t see any activity in recruiter) so my advice is just keep your profile updated and don’t even worry about posting or engaging
Instead of investing into a candidateb job app review workflow that actually works, LinkedIn has decided it's more worthwhile to invest time into LinkedIn GAMING

Looks like that was a latest LinkedIn trend- people start with same scenario sentence and add their own "witty" twist
