Can we use "sick leave WBS code" for taking "Planned" leaves (1-2days)?


Has anyone done that? What might be the consequences of doing so?

Last year also 10 sick leaves got lapsed. This year also I have not taken any sick leave.

Looking to switch jobs and maternity leave policy is an important factor for me. Would love to hear about some companies that have generous mat leaves vs. others that don’t. Can you all share what you know?

I recently accepted a position with a new org. One of the benefits I asked about with offer was the parental leave policy and was told (in writing by HR) 16 weeks paid after 1 year, which is as good as you can hope for in US. Now I’ve been sent the employee handbook to review/sign and it says only 12 weeks, which is less than the org I’m leaving. What might my recourses be to negotiate 16 weeks when the time comes? Also, should I be viewing this is a red flag?

I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work.
