There’s no such thing as quiet quitting. That was so weird during the pandemic.
If you’re doing what you’re paid to do, that’s working. You aren’t required to provide more value than you are paid.
Hard out there. Consider before quitting. Right now having work is a lucky break
It's been rough out there for several years. It's not "rough out there". This is just how it is now.
Pick your least important project and do the bare minimum for it. Hopefully that can buy you a little extra headspace and give you a little more time back. If that isn’t working after a couple weeks, add another project to the list. If you’re still delivering on the big stuff and you’ve been delivering in general for a while, you’ve got some leeway.
Don’t value the company more than they value you.
Also - don’t end up on the unemployment line. Every decent creative position will have hundreds of candidates. So if you’re leaving, I’d strongly suggest you have your next gig lined up - creative or not.
Curious what you consider above and beyond and how you’re looking to be rewarded?
I was quietly quitting and just got laid off. Be careful what you wish for.
WTF. Are you seriously asking about quiet quitting? Be a grown up and a professional. Either do your job. Or resign. Clients and coworkers are relying on you. Don’t be a chump and just not do shit until some hire up figures it out and then fires you.
No you can’t quite quit and not burn bridges. I don’t even know you and I wouldn’t want to work with someone who would consider this.
Can’t believe this is a real question or conversation.
