Do your best to prepare your projects to be in their best shape when you come back to them. That’s the professional thing to do. Your bosses will take note.
As a boss who is losing a majority of their team, know that it hurts on the other side too. In different ways, sure. But losing people you care about to something out of your control really just fucking sucks. Especially when you’ve worked so hard to build a team.
My advice is to just do your best to just be kind to the people around you during this time. Go the extra mile. Do the extra work. Be the best version of yourself.

Do your part. Keep a paper trail showing you did your part. Leave out key knowledge you have that wouldn't be known by anyone else, the shit literally only in your head, so it breaks without you. Your 'golden touch' will be leverage later, but don't admit you left stuff out.
