JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Debevoise’s guide to funds is pretty solid. Overall, GP side has actual drafting docs, as opposed to preparing comment memos and side letter requests.

More funds, generally, but Private equity fund formation by Jonathan rash is probably the best and worth the money as a desk reference. Mastering private equity is also good. If you haven’t read the ILPA docs, those are helpful. PLI has lots of helpful cle’s that feel applicable to GPs. If you are looking for upper tier stuff, that’s trickier to find good information about since its sponsor specific and mostly tax. If you are familiar with all of the above, sounds like you’re well versed in GP issues from your LP experience.

What exactly are you looking for? As a4 mentioned the debevoise guide is pretty solid, but also fairly elementary. I think if you have been on the LP side, you should be relatively familiar with structuring. If anything more familiar since you have seen a variety of forms as opposed to one law firm using their forms to just update
I was curious about the step by step structuring and thought process behind it. As A7 mentioned, a big part of it is Tax. Was hoping for someone to discuss in lay terms and perhaps elaborate on unique aspects of the deal that swayed the structuring one way or another.
