Hello - I transferred offices this year between two states. I changed my address in workday in mid June and my work location was updated to my new state in August 1. I was withheld by both states for 3 pay periods (the six weeks) in between those days. So now my W-2 shows two state taxable wages that (when added) is higher than my total wages. How do I treat this when filing my state tax return? Do I just go by the date of my move and then manually lower one of the state reported wages?

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. Help,I started a new career n the events industry and I think I have to quit! The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor!
