Same city, same starting level (consultant at accenture)Setting aside Google’s equity portion as that’s great, how does career progression fare between the two in terms of speed to higher levels and compensation. I’m aware that Accenture it’s 2-3 years to manager from consultant with smallish increases then maybe a 15-20% promotion increase. How does that compare at Google?

I am very young in my career working as a management consultant. For folks deep into their careers, how have you achieved work-life balance? Is the grass greener after B School? Going into industry?

Anyone leave before their bonus (before knowing what the amount was) and then regret it when it turned out to be a huge bonus? Got a great offer that I want to take but feeling FOMO by leaving the bonus on the table.

And yes, I tried moving the start date and asking them to cover the lost bonus but they said no and it’s still a better offer and it would be irresponsible not to take it.
