Changed firms earlier this year but still feel like I’m not clicking. I’m starting to wonder weather I made a mistake or if it’ll click in the coming months. Folks are nice and it’s a good environment, but just a different vibe. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Nothing beats sitting down, day one, feeling the vibe is off and thinking “wHaT hAvE i DoNe?!”

It takes me about a year to get comfortable at a new place.

I'd say always give it a year to see whether the issue is a specific team, the whole practice group, or was just frustration with adjusting to a new job

Give it a little more time. You haven’t seen them in every season for the first time yet. It gets better after a year, IMO

I feel the same way! I started at my new firm in September and spent most of September and October thinking, “what have I done??” The people here are nice but everything is new and overwhelming and the vibe is very different than my prior firm. This month has felt more stable. Still not sure if this is my long term gig but I’m feeling less of an overwhelming desire to flee. That said, I am keeping my eyes open for the next opportunity. If something different presents itself, I’m going to seriously consider it.

Hi All,

I have offer from Accenture with 15.5 LPA with 21percent VPA including 3.25 L variable pay. The pay is for Level 10 and domain is SAP, YOE is 4.6. So what is the pay range for Level 10 and I do have counter offer so can I negotiate further with Accenture.

I keep watching Schitt's Creek reruns now and then. It makes me feel warm and mushy, but also super lonely. So tired of being perpetually single. What is the best way to attract a new mate? I got out of a 7 year relationship (he was cheating on me for half of it) and I’m so confused on where to even start. I have a therapist and working on my trust issues - but I have self confidence issues. I’ve been burned for being ‘unattractive’. But I’ve seen girls that are objectively more unattractive than me have mates. So it must be a confidence issue? Those girls seem to glow while I am so sad. Or it’s the guys I go on dates with?
