I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. I've got a job offer from a small IT company. But before releasing the offer letter, they want me to accept a terms and conditions form which has this 10th point as shown in picture. It states failing to join them will result in paying 2 months of salary that's around 130000 rs.

Is it for real? If I get a better offer somewhere else ane don't join them, will I really have to pay this to them? Please help friends. What should I do?
