Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Most clients don’t understand their own business.
...the challenges we had identified in the brief were right (before we could even ask them.)
The client who told us we were wrong refuses to acknowledge that their team backed us up.
When we rewrote the brief and included some of the things they asked for, the client said “why did you put this in?”
Because you told us to, asshole.
That’s your job to understand their business, their job and shit...just do their job for them.
Good luck then, probably just an arrogant a-hole as you say!
Client has a bigger / different issue with the agency but isn’t telling them. The ‘it’s wrong/you don’t understand’ is the only way they feel they can issue reprimand given they’re not being honest with you. They probably have significant internal pressure and politics coming from a particular direction, possibly highlighting their flaws, and are simply deflecting the blame at you as the people who are ‘supposed to be’ protecting, supporting, and making them look good. Take them out for a lunch or drink, you might be surprised at what they tell you!
@SAD1 this is a relatively new client. We know the former agency well. Apparently this client is just an asshole to everyone, including their own team.
The taking them out for drinks bit has already been done. I’m not sure they deserved it though.
