Comfortable pumps for daily wear at the office? Looking for a pair that won't wear through the heel tips in less than a month.

I swear by the Jimmy Choo Romy Pointy Toe Pump. It’s pricy, but incredibly comfortable and also professional. I have been wearing them every single day to work for the past four years and the heel tips have never worn through, though each pair lasts me about a year or a year and a half before the heel itself starts to see some wear and tear.

I second the romy pointy toe, I have the patent black

I finally gave up on heels this year. Just not worth it. Birdies has really cool flat options.

Get a cobbler to re-sole them. I’ve now got Vibram bottoms on my Stuart Weitzman high heels, and they are GREAT.

Calvin Klein Brady Pumps. I have them in multiple colors and they are surprisingly comfortable.

I have the Gayle in 4 colors (so far) and they are amazing! Best work shoe ever!

If you're cool with block heels, I wear the Nine West Issa Women's Block Heels. They're very comfortable and look great with almost anything. I alternate between them and some basic black flats for work.

I like Taryn Rose— different heel sizes available. If you subscribe to their newsletter before buying, you get a code for your first purchase (learn from my mistake!) It took a couple of wears to for me to get used to the built in support!

Life stride makes a bunch of cute comfy pumps now. And I love Circus by Sam Edelman

When I regularly wire pumps, I’d have the tips immediately replaced with an industrial strength version. Saved a lot of time and avoided the inconvenience.

I was called into HR because a coworker overheard a conversation between me and another colleague taking about cable/streaming shows that we watched or recorded. I mentioned that I recorded a few true-crime shows. My colleague jokingly said, "I hope I'm not on your hit-list!". I replied, "Not anymore." HR pulled me in to say a coworker complained about me talking about hit-lists, and they were now scared. HR wouldn't say who complained, so do I have a right to ask about the resolution to this?

How to deal with people flirting with you at work.
I’m married, and one of my coworkers flirts with me. Nothing super overt, but definitely not professional. We’re good friends and work together constantly because we’re on the same client, so I don’t want to make it awkward. Do I just do nothing and let it go? It is mostly just odd I’m not super offended, but I’m also clearly uninterested!

There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.
