Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

They asked for all documents for releasing offer letter. After uploading that, they sent BGV links which was completed way back in April. Now its June, still i am waiting for Offer Letter. Recruiter not receiving calls! Ghosted by the firm or these things happen at the firm regularly? Wipro
Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.

Same thing happened to me in 2019 as well. Lesson learnt: If you have a offer, look for another offer too. Wipro made me wait 3 weeks.
May be the guy to whom you replacing is taken his resignation back.
Last year I joined on 20th April ....After joining they put me on bench cuz the guy i was replacing he withdraw his resignation.....and i attended 2-3 interview for almost 20 days by different teams of Wipro.....they assigned me different project on different location which was really depressing...left organisation before completing one year.
That's why keep offer letters from other organisation as well. Wipro is doing this now a days. Not reliable
No need to worry about skill allowance, as you will get this fixed component monthly.

there are already lot of people in LOP in wipro ..worst part is that even if u have project u can be in LOP as it may not billable..
Actually i also want to know how you are non billable when you're tagged in a project. At max, you can be tagged as investment in that project but that doesn't mean LOP or any QPLC loss.
It happened to me also.... joining date has been extended but they will not inform the candidate....don't know what's happening with Wipro they will extend the joining date suddenly and won't even inform....don't rely on the Wipro offer anymore

don't join wipro.. as there are mostly support projects (ticket based) if you got alight client, give interviews as you are immediate joiner

@ OP - what did you do bro? I think this can be challenged in court, isn't it ? You should have mailed it to the top management, spread this everywhere on social sites, in news. It's illegal and can't be done. I have faced the same in 2021 and i wrote mails to their CHRO, they had to accept me.
There is no legal obligation in it so you can't farh tham to court unless it's any state or central government. In contact if you look the wording will be ambiguous saying unless otherwise communicated in writing by the company. So till the date you are joined it's still not 100% confirmed. There are so many terms and conditions giving all privilege to the organization. And it's a big organization it won't affect them or hamper their brand image but we will surely affect our career. They might blacklist or pass some bad remarks which will affect in career.
They delayed my joining by 5 days. But then i joined.
