30K signing bonus in an offer from a higher ranked firm…am I crazy to go back to my firm to see if they will match it. I don’t want to leave, just want the extra $$.

All my six-figure salary consultant friends are ranting about how poor they feel right now because their IRAs/portfolios are down. Currently making 180 TC at a large bank and have an offer from a FAANG for 260 TC. Hello! Looking at an opportunity with established startup in UK that's just been acquired by a large co. I'm US based and my salary is around $250k (NYC) -I've been asked my expectation without the startup giving me a range to work from (though I've asked). I'm not sure how to reply to them because I have a feeling that my requirement may be out of their range and while I don't want to undercut my value, I also don't want to be cut out of the process because it's an interesting co.
