Need some advice. I have a Computer Engineer degree, I’m trying to focus on web3 software but also have interest in cybersecurity. Not sure if I should just start looking for web3 software jobs or do a masters in cybersecurity. I know web3 pays a lot but would a cybersecurity masters make a bigger difference in salary when looking at cybersecurity positions vs just going software/web3 now? Or should I be looking at software masters programs?

Please share your thoughts on the Associate Partner role at EY. I’m considering a role and this is on the table. Trying to understand how it compares to a Director role and the typical path to an equity partner. Are lateral moves as an equity partner possible?

It looks like our team is taking turns on who is organizing happy hour/ setting up reservations and may look bad if I don’t take ‘initiative’ here. Tbh I don’t feel comfortable setting up a happy hour for my coworkers to drink. (I don’t hold judgment that they drink, and they don’t hold judgment that I do not drink). However, I think I would feel weird setting up reservations at a bar (id be worried if I would reap sin from that?) idk I may be overthinking.... thoughts?

Hi all! I’m wondering what your thoughts are on HR texting with employees (especially if you support 100+). To me, texting with employees is problematic because it is so easy to misconstrue a text, there’s no set start/end to a “conversation”, and it disrupts boundaries. I’m in a hotel with 545 (I should add we have a often volatile Union environment so ee’s “hang on” to words and are always looking for managers to make mistakes).
