CPA with 18 years in industry (mostly publicly traded companies). Will have to plan on never working in accounting again because no one wants me anymore.

I don't think I will be able to find another job in industry as no one seems to want my background anymore. I have no public accounting firm experience, and no one seems to want anyone with more than ten years of experience. It's too bad but this the reality of the situation.

Guys, any advise on how to handle this question "Why do you want to leave your current job?" Since it's been only 6 months. The actually reason is to get better package. I'm getting very low now.
