Creatives and in-house producers: would you rather receive outreach from prod cos, reps, freelance directors or photographers straight to your inbox first OR start in the DMs so you can scope them out and follow? I’ve been in-house before and my inbox would be flooded every week - then I’d feel bad when I was too busy to look at each one). If I was still in-house I think I’d prefer DMs so I could save their stuff easily and have a quick pool ready to go. Super curious what you all prefer.

Has anyone ever worked at an agency in which the project management department was properly utilized? I traditionally was brought up in my career where PM type tasks were handled by lower level AMs. I have observed separating AM and PM tasks into two separate departments just causes communication issues and lazy account people. Account people should have a good understanding of how much effort and time goes into a project. Project Managers are missing a lot of context so blind leading blind.
