Totally depends on philosophy. Some will pay 40% of book and give you a guarantee for two years. Others will give you a longer leash but want you to prove out your book a little more. Your time billed will also be a big factor at that level. If you’re collecting that and billing 800 hrs because you’re putting so much time into BD, that’s less valuable than if you’re hitting 1800 and able to fill the rest of your plate with other people’s work.

1 and 1.5 are very different. But probably mostly depends on practice area, if there's work to give you and rates. If there's a real need maybe 600 is doable, but if not you are likely looking at 400-500 plus incentive targets. But as you get to more or less profitable firms it may be higher or lower. Really depends on firm's comp structure too so I wouldn't assume anything too generally

Will depend on your practice area, portability of book (will it port completely to the new firm’s platform), bill rate alignment and can they help you grow by cross selling or feeding you some client work.
Generally 30-40% is standard but some practices will yield a premium. Having a long runway ahead as a young partner is an advantage too.
If you feel like you’ve hit a ceiling at your current firm, I’d try to find a long term fit where you can grow and be supported, rather than the highest 2 year guarantee. (Feel free to DM me)
