Hello! I am currently a registered travel nurse but have been working on pursuing a career in Pharmaceutical sales for a while now. I have recently applied to some positions with Astrazeneca and Eli Lily company and I would be so grateful if anyone could provide me with a referral for these positions. I would be happy to send my resume and discuss why I feel I would make a great addition to these teams! Thank you!

Capital One Venture or CSR?
Thanks for blowing the merger, Accenture!
How many points... for not asking for points?
I would analyze my spend and model my spend against the benefits of each card. I uncovered interesting spend habits that i wasnt expecting and may think you will as well.
If you travel 2x a year you can use the $100 airline credit Amex gives you to chill at lounge and $10 dining credit to buy lunch. On top of that you can still get 4x on restaurants and supermarket. I think answer is obvious
If you have a corporate AMEX already, you can get a statement credit for the gold card. I’m not sure what the amount is but for the Platinum it’s $150 annually.
That’s annoying! I’d try a few times to see if you get an agent that would push it through
You can easily afford a $550 credit card on $80k
And by 6x/month I mean restaurants and bars. Not including buying lunch (maybe 4x/week) and coffees.
Do this instead

Your income really has nothing to do with the annual fee it’s just a cost benefit analysis. Similar comp here and have Amex Gold and Plat and CSP and see great value
Whoa how/why do you pay all those annual fees and why do u have gold AND plat
Those cards can easily pay for themselves depending on spending habits but I have Gold and CSR and think it’s well worth the fees
Agreed with all re: Amex gold benefits. I have both the gold and the CSR and there’s more value to CSR than has been covered here - $60 DoorDash credit each year in 2020 and 2021 (That’s like 2-3 meals right there) which knocks your fee down to $190. You should do your own valuations of priority pass and points but imo it’s a no brainer
I have a similar travel pattern and love the Amex Gold. I eat out and grocery shop a lot (4x points), use the $10 Grubhub credit each month, and use the $100/year airline credit on lounges or inflight food. I think the current sign up bonus is 40,000 if you use a referral link Apply for an American Express Card with this link. http://refer.amex.us/SARAHTAouX?xl=cp01
“Not spending 550, I only make 80k” lol whichever card you get, if it returns a negative cashflow there’s a problem. Credit cards shouldnt cost you a dime.
