I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

I pay for the extras and it’s fine
I've not flied with them in some time, but they used to be fairly good, very inexpensive if you're only traveling with a carry on.
Flied?
Picture a greyhound bus with wings. Yeah, that bad
Lately they have been super bad. They make you put your free personal item in a box before you board the plane and if the agent sees you had to push your item in the box or it’s even slightly too big they will charge you $100 for a carry-on at the gate. Also the max weight for checked bags are only 40 pounds and they’ll charge you an extra $50 if it’s between 41-50 pounds. They charge super excessively nowadays and I don’t recommend flying with them to anyone
@Scientist 1. I completely agree, I refuse to ever fly with them again and I want to save other people the hassle of flying with them. The cheap prices aren’t worth it when they over excessively charge you for every little add-on.
If it weren't for the existence of Spirit, Frontier would be, hands down, the worst. Tiny, uncomfortable seats, charge for everything, stampede to get on and off. Costs the same with add-ons to fly United or Delta, if you are capable of foresight. Would not recommend.
They’re awful. Do not attempt
I last flew frontier in 2013. Afterward, I swore that would be the last time and it was. I would rather take an 18 hour road trip than fly frontier and I hate being in the car. I would rather charter a jet at almost any cost before I flew frontier. I would rather fly spirit than fly frontier.
Rising Star
They are really bad with ads-on fees. Pay the extra money and go with United and travel with confidence.
“Travel with confidence” 😂 do you work for United?
In my opinion, southwest is a little bit more expensive but comparable pricing after you take into account frontiers additional expenses, and a much better flying experience.
I’ve never had a problem with them. I’ve heard that the chairs are a bit hard but that wasn’t my experience
I do have some junk in the trunk 😳
The flight itself is fine, I stopped flying them because I got screwed over too many times in a row with them cancelling flights
Try to avoid most of the time, but sometimes they have some unique direct flights and/or super cheap options so I'll fly with them occasionally.
I stopped flying with them after college. I found that it honestly ended up being the same price as other airlines, especially southwest if I planned in advance & my experience was always 10x better.
Pro
Thanks everyone. I never flew frontier or spirit. But Denver to OC direct round trip next week is less than $100… I am very tempted.
Frontier isn’t amazing, but still not as terrible as spirit.
I do feel like they have very little leg room. I'm only 5'7" and I notice it, but I'm still short enough it doesn't really matter all that much. If you're taller, I'm sure it would be something to consider.
I’ve never had an in time flight with them. I always spend the extra $ to just go with United
The seats are cardboard
🤢🤢🤢🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️
Thanks everyone. I still haven’t booked my flight. Frontier after all the extras is $240 round trip. Southwest and United are both $540. I am debating if I should save the $300.🤦♀️
I fly frontier all the time for the same reasons. The points and slightly more comfortable seats are not worth twice the cost for me. I’d rather spend money doing fun things. They both get you A to B. Aside from bizarre customer service, they’re fine, and if I carry a regular sized backpack, I’ve never paid for carry on and never had issues with boarding or delays.
… it’s basically the same as any other domestic carrier
