Hey, Fishies! We’re launching our first Interview/Q+A series "Portfolio Rewind: Would You Hire You?"
Like a portfolio review in reverse, creative leaders will share work they created when they first started out and critique it as if were a book that had just landed in their inbox. Then, tell us if they’d hire their younger selves knowing, and expecting, what they do now.
Drop in for get the chance to ask questions, and get your book reviewed by our guest. Hope you can make it!

If it’s to showcase a concept I have or idea… I think it’s great. Also shows off the skill of being AI knowledgeable, which I think is going to be increasingly valuable.
I've actually started doing this! I've always had trouble finding people to partner with on spec work and while my photoshop skills aren't terrible, I'm at my worst when it comes to designing experiential stuff.
I'm working on some spec stuff now and tried incorporating AI to help. While it's still not the greatest, it's done a much better job than I ever could actually bringing my ideas to life.
Depends on how much work the AI is doing vs how much your concept is shining through. Curious, as a senior AD who works in experiential, why don't you have render capabilities? It would be way more impressive if you learned 3D and mocked these up yourself. Blender is free and C4D is very pirate-able, learning them is easier than you think.
Blender is very easy to learn once you get the basics down. I taught it to myself with the help of YouTube and skillshare.
