Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

Ask for stock. If it's 100people it's usually well funded. If it's not California, a 10% raise to like 125k should be fine, but ask to go as big on stock as possible. Avoid if there is no stock compensation.
For perspective, I interned at a startup 4 years ago which was Series A at the time, and they recently got series D at a 1.2b value. My reporting manager had a 0.20% stake at the time. Even if he was diluted which I doubt because he is now CTO, he is probably worth millions at about 32-33 years of age.
Insist on stock compensation, a little bit of extra cash is meaningless long term, stock options are everything especially if it is a 100 person shop. You will make comparable money at B4 long term as a funded startup unless you get some stocks.
Thanks for the input. How does one go about negotiating stock options? Are questions regarding financials (e.g. number of funding rounds, liquidation preferences, etc.) of the startup appropriate to ask during negotiations?
OP, which tech are you in?
