I exited Deloitte and working for a cloud software tech company with total comp $350k
Can I dm you regarding cloud implementation?
Total comp last year (2020) was 239k; expecting around 265k this year and around 300k next year.
Cloud consulting 10 YOE.
Last year was actually at ACN. Came in as an experienced hire originally at 185 base. At another large SI now.
If you work for AWS, Microsoft, or Google you'll do very well
I'm in the mid 300s
@d1. I think we are looking at equity the same way
If I stay put, at 3 YOE, I’ll be at 180k-200k for a mildly technical role
It depends on timeline and what you want to do. You want to just lock in as a cloud engineer at a big SI, you may top out around $300 to $350k-ish (depending on inflation). You want to get into sales or leadership at a big SI? Could be upwards of $1M total comp, but that takes time and may not be a good fit for everybody.
