I have Austin Burke and they have lasted me 5 years and still look good
That budget seems to low for a custom suit. Try suit supply, it’s not custom but they will tailor everything to your body.
Willing to go above budget for the right suits as mentioned. Hoping to be somewhere in $800-1,500 range, but again, this is a soft budget. Previously got some Tom James made-to-measure custom suits for less than $1k that, to me, seemed far superior to Suit Supply’s offerings.
Not custom suits, but Austin Burke’s in Miami has very high quality suits at affordable prices and has tailors on staff to make the necessary alterations. They have been a south Florida staple for decades and in the past have been the suit supplier for some local athletes and coaches. I have custom suits and they are great and you can’t beat the fit, but I honestly prefer some of my Austin Burke suits to the custom ones.
If you go through the Lakeland/Winter Haven area, Nicks For Men at Eagle Ridge Mall. I get solid suits there for $200-$300 a piece, and they’re light for Florida heat. They carry a lot of suits (not “custom” per se) but they do alterations and everything to fit it to you very well and ship it.
Appreciate the insight, all. Really hoping for made-to-measure and bespoke suggestions though. Not looking for off-the-rack then tailored options. Let’s rephrase my initial post to: “willing to spend $1k+ for a good suit.” I’m not opposed to spending more if it’s a very nice suit. I’m more concerned about identifying quality, trustworthy brands for a custom suit right now though and then assessing price later.
