Definitely have my money on Dana too.
McNally feels like Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget, he exists but I’ve never seen him. Versus Dana who is so hands on, hoping for Dana. Can’t speak to normy advertising but when it comes to health and pharma IPG > Omnicom in terms of leadership
Dana can slaughter any other health leader in the industry. Always could, always did, always will.
My money’s on Dana.
Dana won. Before the fight started.
So, now we can argue about which OHG agencies will be folded into FCB Health, and which will be folded into Area 23.
ChatGPT also has its money on Dana.
Welp, matts out.
DAS is, I believe, Omnicom’s largest division. It’s where they put all their agencies that don’t fit into their other networks (although, now that BBDO, TBWA, and DDB are all under the same reporting structure, that new division might be larger). DAS has never really had any brand identity because it’s such a hodgepodge of companies.
Dana wins.
My money is always on Dana… assuming she wants it
Then you don’t know Dana…
A friend told me the global head of HR at Omnicom Health left suddenly a few months ago and wasn’t replaced. I’m betting on IPG Health taking the health function over with decisions happening like that.
See you at the next Speak Easy
I think Dana’s right hand, Mike Guarino, is someone many may not know and his critical role in building the success of FCB Health network and later
IPGH.
The only way to win is not to play.
Deep cut. Well done, Joshua.
There's no doubt that Dana is by far the better executive. But my money's on Matt - it helps to be on the winning team even if you aren't the star player.
Not the first time I've been wrong. This feels like a good development though, assuming it's Dana who is going to be stepping in.
Mentor
These fights are always over before they even begin. Dana had a great career, but her side of the table has been made redundant and OHG is taking over. That's just what it is.
This aged well….
I’d put my money on Dana. No question.

Like McNally doesnt have one foot out the door already. Guy has been in witness protection for 1 yr +.
Im trying hard to think of one impressive thing that McNally accomplished here and I am hard pressed. Come to think of it, everything has gotten significantly worse since he got here
Dana all the way
Dana wins again
