138k as an ACD in San Francisco - too low?
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Mindtree culture is detoriating day by day . No clarity on hike and appraisal even though mail have been sent regarding this since Dec 2021 . Disgusting HR head practice who joined from CTS . How come they don't abide by what they communicate and keep silence without any update for delay .
Shameful . Feeling Disappointed. Has joined this company 11 months back with hopes for longer and fruitful association but will resign soon . Pathetic company Mindtree

It’s great. Great restaurants, great bars, great concert scene, ever major sports team, lots of opportunities to try new hobbies, it doesn’t take too long to get anywhere in the city, you’ll love it.
This is exactly what I was hoping for! ☺️
It’s a great city to live in but be prepared for higher rent costs. Depending on where you decide to stay, DC rents can be pretty expensive.
Yea definitely. I’ve looked into rent prices in a few places, but I haven’t decided where exactly I’d like to live yet
I’ll make a plug for Navy Yard — assuming you’re making a consulting salary, there are a lot of good 1 bd spots for a bit over $2k/mo, and it checks a lot of the metro/grocery store/social boxes folks have mentioned in this thread. It sometimes gets a bad rap in DC for being full of consulting bros and republicans — neither is particularly true compared to any other neighborhoods with new construction.
Great, thanks!
I love it. Clean, pretty, good architecture, museums, outdoor space, restaurants and bars are great. Dating is a bitch. Making friends is easy though.
I see- that doesn’t sound too bad but I get your point
I love it here. There's a lot to do, free museums, great food, and there are always new people coming in and out. Plus I think there are always jobs here because of the federal government. Definitely research different neighborhoods and consider living in Arlington, VA or Maryland if you find it to be too expensive.
Makes sense. Definitely want to use my car as little as possible so I’ll keep that in mind!
