Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Can anyone help me with the same Tata ConsultancyAccentureDeloitteZS AssociatesInfosysSalesforceSalesforceAmazonMicrosoft
Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance

Hi folks
I wanted a suggestion from you all guys, I have given interview of PS and got a call for offer after interview and I denied the offer as I have received an offer from some other company, I denied coz I was not doing offer shopping or piling offers, he tried to convince me and when I didn't get convinced he said to blacklist me from PS. What to do?

You are implying something is wrong when in fact 2 mo is like 2 min. Why are you worried? Give it time, prove yourself, you'll be fine
Oh. Then just get actionable items and guidance from him on how to change his mind and do them over the next two months. Be direct
You have a year til promo? Don't sweat it and work hard.
Lol your manager sounds terrible.
A to SA is usually (but not always) automatic at your 12 month anniversary. So you'll probably get that. Sr A to C is harder. Tbh, I don't think you'll get it only 9 months after your SrA promo unless you really rock and don't have a lot of competition from people who have been at SrA for 12+ months and the firm+your group has good financials for the year. That's just the way the promos are designed to go, it's not a knock on you. But your manager gave you good feedback, those 2 things are important for the C promo so give it a shot.
A to C at Accenture used to be 18-24 months. We randomly added a level in between. So not really k1. It's even more difficult than before now technically.
Best advice I can give? Calm the F down.
How did your other projects rate you? If there's a 10 month project that says you're ready vs the 2 month one that doesn't... that may work out
I am 2 months into this project with another 2 months to go! I want to be able to walk out of this project with a "promote ready" position - tips on that?
What's your level and what was your Manager's reason?
Analyst to consultant jump and that I don't have a high enough level of understanding (i.e. operating as an executor rather than a facilitator) to act more independently. Also I am not overseeing anyone/people managing.
A to C, skipping Sr A?
Sr A to Consultant*
Even if you come out after 2 months with promote ready, that's for next year. That's why your precious projects matter. 2 months is nothing, how was the rest of your year
ACN- I am currently an Analyst and find out about SA in October. The next discussion is SA to Consultant which is what I am focused on in this post, sorry if that wasn't clear!
Thanks!
ACN3, I asked him point blank in a feedback session because I want to create that as a goal of mine. Also better to develop now than receive the review at the project's end?
Wait am I reading this right that you can jump from first level to second level in about a year (less) then again 9 mo later? That seems ridiculous. Good on you but makes me feel like Accenture's levels are less meaningful if so.
Yeah OP's goal is not realistic but technically possible. Should be 12 months at A, then 12-24 at Sr A. Because promo happens at one time of the year instead of the month of your 1 or 2 year anniversary, you can get the promo in a slightly shorter time frame than I just stated but the stars have to be aligned. My experience over 4 years has been that the longer time frames are more likely than shorter.
