Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

South end. A brownstone on Tremont or West Newton
Backbay - Boylston to Beacon st (Charles river) between Arlington and Fairfield
1500? You’re looking at least two roommates if you want walking distance to the prudential center. Nowhere within a 45 min commute if you want to live alone
Okay. Avalon/Exeter/Ava properties are out at that price. If you want to be within walking distance, that budget will get you an older 2+ bed on Newbury (Comm Ave and Beacon tend to be a bit pricier, either bc of location or renos) or a moderate 2+ bed in the South End. I think Tremont/West End or Tremont/Berkeley is the window you should consider if you’re looking in the South End; anything past Tremont is a bit more awkward for commutes or a bit sketchier. Fenway will give you more bang for your buck than either of these locations - depending on where in Fenway, you can be convenient to Back Bay thanks to the Hynes/Copley stops near the Pru. Ive lived in both South End/Back Bay locations and currently am in Back Bay, right by the Pru. Convenience (to work and Trader Joe’s/Star Market/gyms/workout studios) is definitely greater on this end, but obviously you get older units unless you luck out with timing and such - so it depends what your priorities are. I prefer living in the South End for the quieter lifestyle and quality of housing, but it’s a toss up for sure! For brokers, happy to send you a list if you post a burner! Price points and availability will depend on your timeline - Sept is highest with greatest availability, June next, then the rest of the year is a bit cheaper (ie, you can find South End 2-beds for $3k in Sept at $2.8k around this time of year)
What’s your budget / must haves / target walking distance? Happy to post a list and recommend brokers based on those!
Avalon apartments at Prudential. 30 seconds away.
Back bay or south end
South end. Recommend staying close to Columbus for proximity to Back Bay T station
30 Dalton is right across the street from the back of the pru. Also agree with south end near Columbus or back bay
Avalon Exeter. Expensive but sooooo convenient
Love the Avalon / AVA properties in Boston
Ideally under 1500/month, fine with multiple roommates. Also fine with newer/less established areas as long as convenient location
