Deloitte folks - has anyone been contacted by the law firm regarding H1B docs?

From the day my firm files my green card application, how long will I have to wait to be approved and receive my green card? For further context, I was born in China and only have an undergrad degree.

Deloitte H1B transfer has been approved as per USCIS website.
1. Will the approval notice be sent to my address or attorney office?
2. Do I need to wait for approval notice physical copy to be received or can I put my 2 week notice?

I am applying for Us tourist/business visa and I have a consular appointment in Delhi at 9:40 am , any guidance to hoe much time this can take as I want to book a flight from Delhi back to Mumbai ?
